Troll Policy
According to Wikipedia, a troll is:
a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion,[3] often for their own amusement.
Dating Kinky is all about meeting and connecting with other awesome kinky people. And as kinky people, we tend to be pretty passionate about what we love and do. And that’s awesome.
However, any person for whom the majority of their shared content or comments is inciteful or inflammatory will be dealt with quickly. Because that does not contribute to our primary objecting of connecting people, but instead creates the opposite: division.
And you can help! By using the report feature on every piece of shared content, on every comment, on every profile, you can alert admins and moderators to potential trolls (and worse), and help keep Dating Kinky the BEST DAMN KINKY DATING SITE, ever! *smiles*
What happens to reported trolls? Well, that depends. Sometimes, people don’t know how they are coming across, so they may just get a warning. Some may be suspended for a time. Some may be blocked or banned. We take things on a case-by-case basis, because people make mistakes and deserve a chance to correct.
Thank you for helping us keep Dating Kinky awesome!
