In this talk, we will connect to the pleasure body, identify pleasure centers and explore the links between pleasure and shame.

Pleasure is natural, personal and universal. Pleasure nourishes, replenishes and revitalizes. What one finds pleasurable changes in any given moment. By bringing awareness to the somatic experience of pleasure, subtle and profound, we expand our range of access; attuning to pleasure as a compass.

Shame is the shadow of pleasure. We were not born with shame. Shame is learned and contagious. Like pleasure, shame is something we all experience, personal and universal. The more we learn about our shame, the ways it shows up in our lives and bodies, the more keys we have to unlock it and open the door to expansive pleasure.
