“I’m not trying to be disrespectful, but…”

Here’s a hint: When you say “I’m not trying to be disrespectful, but…” you already know that what you’re about to say is disrespectful.

Saying those words before your disrespectful content does not change anything, except to show that you are completely aware of being disrespectful, and you just don’t care.
