Exchanging written fantasies prior to play can be an excellent form of negotiation and communication. Writing smut can help you refine your buttons and explain those buttons to potential partners. After all, it is often easier to write things out than to say them. This webinar will provide ways of approaching writing hot, effective messages, and also, some rules of the road where writing and receiving erotica are concerned. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to think, read and write dirty.

Q&A

1) Flora: how do you encourage your partner to participate if you want to play the smut game?
2) Stormy: ok…I’m single so I only work with material put in front of me, but I’m journaling about the things I respond to to clarify my fantasies, will that possibly turn out to become smut?
3) lizzy_greyjoy: How do you work on improving your vocabulary for actual sexual acts? Like I feel decently comfortable on writing any/all of the buildup…. including hands being laid on people etc… but when it comes to talking about genetalia I get squeeee….. I feel like there are a lot of yuck words out there…. is there a database? Lol
4) Phoenix: Is the lack of measurements an effort to avoid a bad reaction if the smut is directed to a person?
5) Jaegar: how do you discuss differences in observation? like you right about the feeling or dynamic of a scene, but they only read/hear that you like a particular position and being spanked?
6) Darla: words like “he said” “she asked” are considered to be free – we can use them over and over without them being noticed, can cock and pussy be the same? I always feel like I’m saying the same things over and over because “his organ grinder” makes me giggle too hard to finish….
7) Limm: I generally try to keep my smut to one particular encounter or part of a larger session, rather than dumping a huge amount on someone
8) castaway: Given your improv background, any tips to utilize lessons from that discipline (like “Yes, and…”, for example) when sharing and responding to fantasies that you or your partner share?

Jane Boon is the author of the forthcoming novel from Regan Arts, EDGE PLAY. Set during the last financial crisis, a gorgeous young investment banker sniffs out wrongdoing by her boss and is promptly fired. She winds up working as a dominatrix in an elite BDSM dungeon, catering to the pervy needs of millionaires and billionaires. It turns out, the dungeon is a better classroom than she found at Harvard Business School. With the help of a crusading journalist and a bondage-loving billionaire, she rights some wrongs. And yes, EDGE PLAY is dirty. It will be available in June.

I love when you beg.

Let me be clear. I have ZERO interest in begging or wheedling or you trying to convince me of something I’ve already said “No” to.
