“I Toadally <3 DK"

“I Toadally <3 DK"

Well, of course you do! I mean, of course WE do. And I do. It’s my baby, after all.

But WHY? I mean, there are lots of dating sites and apps out there, and building something like this costs a lot of dineros, and requires a lot of work. So far, I’ve been working on this for a few years, and we’re just now really starting to get traction.

So, why? Why put in the 12+ hour days pretty much every day (including many weekends)?

Because as a kinkster I wanted something better that a meat market.

I mean, I want a meat market. I also want the rest of the grocery store. I want kinky snacks, and…oh. I don’t think I can take that analogy any further, sadly.

What I mean is I wanted a site that celebrates and respects my kinks, and is built to connect me for sex (when I want it), dating (when I want it), even good conversation (when Iw ant that).

I wanted a site that thought more about treating me and others with respect than about how I could convince horny, desperate people to pay to send a message.

I wanted a site that made consent a core concept and made reporting profiles easy. And a site that if a profile was reported, reached out with compassion to help correct behavior—or, in the case of actual hate speech, racism, transphobia, misogyny, or whatever, acted decisively to remove the bad actors ASAP.

And that’s what I’m building.

Me, my team, and all of you who join me.

Because to have a dating site for kinksters, I need kinksters who want to date.

Who knew? LOL! Kidding. I knew.

And so, I’m inviting you: Join me. Join us. See what we’re all about and watch us grow and grow with us.

We’d love to have you.

You Gotta Be You: The Backlash

Last Friday, I sent out a message about how being yourself is the most important part of any kind of dating, but especially (of course)

An image of words: “Becoming aware of privilege should not be viewed as a burden or source of guilt, but rather, an opportunity to learn and be responsible so that we may work toward a more just and inclusive world.” One section urges those who are “white,” “male,” “Christian,” “cisgender,” “able-bodied,” and/or “heterosexual” to “check your privilege,” which it defines as “unearned access to social power based on membership in a dominant social group.”

Why I Am Kind To Idiots…

A friend of mine posted on FB a little rant about education: There are a ton of memes that get passed around about how school

People Lie

People lie to me every day. In the strangest ways. I find it fascinating. Because I don’t just write. I read. A LOT. Every day.
