All About Dildos & Dicks

Dicks! What wonderful toys!

More wonderful than I can cover here in this class—since it’s about butts, but I will cover them more thoroughly and lovingly in late 2020 in The Good Dick Book—Keep an eye out for that.

Dicks come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

I’ve seen teeny weinies and dragon dicks. I’ve petted itty-bitty locked boys and big chonkin’ honks. I’ve loved baldies and hoodies.

But, when it comes to dicks and butts, there is more to it than “pretty.” There is practicality.

Which is why I love having more than just one dick.

Granted, I was born without a flesh dick of my own. I’m cool with that. I have about a dozen dicks from smaller and smooth to no-thanks-that’ll-just-be-a-decorative-sculpture-please-and-thank-you.

And I know people who WERE born with their very own, and still use a few others of non-flesh to augment and accent.

Why?

Well, lots of reasons.

Too Big Or Too Small

Some dicks are, well, ginormous. Huge. Spectacularly large. And not suited for virgin (or beginner) butt play.

Some dicks are small and slender, and are great for beginner stuff (sometimes), while larger tools are desired for more filling and sensation.

In fact, this is the top reason here, because I would like all of you with flesh dicks hoping to penetrate with them to think about this.

Your partner is just now getting ready for being filled with dick, and you want to give them the BEST experience possible. Size will matter.

Erection Issues or Premature Ejaculation

Some dicks are shy, or stubborn, or just sometimes choose not to work, while others are super-duper eager, and get too hyper and finish too quickly for their playmate’s best joy.

Double Penetration

Unless you’re a shark or that guy who was born with two working penises, doing double penetration on your own is problematic. A non-flesh dick can help with that!

Power Exchange

Perhaps a dick is owned, and not allowed pleasure without permission, including penetration. A non-flesh penis might them be used to pleasure their partner.

Creativity

Some want to use a dick while they are giving oral (that would be QUITE a feat of flexibility), or while manually stimulating the genitals, etc. There are a lot of creative reasons to use a dick you can move around in your hand (or in a thigh harness, chin harness).

Size Matters

Some buttholes will stretch easily to accommodate pretty much anything. If you have one of these or are playing with one, you have probably figured that out by now.

Other buttholes need a lot of coaxing and training and will only slowly open up to take larger dicks, especially for the acts of penetration and fucking.

So, choose a dick that seems smaller than what you might want to begin with. Whether that’s a flesh dick or a non-flesh dick doesn’t matter. You can always go larger (with new toys or sleeves).

For example, about a 4” (10.1cm) circumference or 1.25” (3.2cm) diameter is a good starting girth for butt play with dicks. And 5-6” (13-16cm) long is a good length.

Of course, that’s going to be up to the butt receiving the toy. This is just my suggestion on where to begin.

Texture

Go smooth.

Some non-flesh dicks have texture, like scales. That’s all well and good for some play. For beginning butt play, though, I suggest you choose a toy as smooth as possible.

It will have less drag, and you can focus more on the feelings of being penetrated and filled than whether texture is rubbing your asshole the wrong way.

Cut or Uncut

Doesn’t matter. In flesh or in non-flesh. Those with uncut flesh know how to take care of themselves, keep clean, and protect themselves. Beyond that, in butt play, it’s not gonna make a hill of beans’ worth of difference.

Long Legs or Short?

The legs that your dick might be attached to (unless it’s removable) can matter quite a bit in the thick of things.

For doggy-style, for example, the bottom having a long hip-to-knee distance and the top having a shorter one can make things awkward. It’s worth checking a few positions before actually getting down tot he dirty, to see what will work best.

Sometimes spreading legs or putting someone over the edge of a bed can help, or having the bottom on top.

Position, as I mentioned in The Big Book of Ass, is going to be all about preference + practicality.

Raincoat or No?

Well, if you’re going to do anal sex (flesh genital-to-ass), and you’re not fluid-bonded or ready to be, yes, use a condom. Obviously.

If you are fluid bonded, then it’s a choice the two of you can make together.

Using a toy? You can use a condom to make cleanup easier, or make changing activities with the toy safer.
